  • Overview

    Responsible for assisting a safe environment for the hotel. Directing guest requests or complaints to appropriate leadership within the property when necessary, or externally when warranted. Accomplishes additional Houseman tasks assigned.




    1. Report to work when scheduled, on time, in proper uniform, including nametag.
    2. Conduct Property “walk-throughs” hourly, actively logging down information pertinent to hotel operations. (I.E. Light bulbs that need replacing, damage to property, debris on property, doors, locks, equipment that is not functioning properly, etc).
    3. Point of Contact for Guests who report damage, injury, disturbance, etc. during the evening/overnight hours.
    4. Prepare type-written Incident Reports, as they happen, to submit to property Managers, which will then be submitted to NewcrestImage Corporate.
    5. Ensure the safety of Guests and Hotel Property by ensuring that doors are locked where they should be locked and when they should be locked.
    6. Responsible for immediately contacting the proper Authorities during a disturbance or emergency.
    7. Offering back-up/Assistance to Front Desk/Bistro/Housekeeping as needed.


    1. Assist with the tear down, clean-up, set-up as assigned based on Event Schedule as directed by Supervisor.
    2. Daily cleaning of Lobby/Bistro Floors and Elevators as needed.
    3. Weekly deep cleaning as assigned by FOM/DOH.
    4. Delivering Folios and other requested items to guests to prevent Front Desk Associate from leaving post.
    5. Pick up overnight breakfast order cards from guestrooms after 3am. Deliver to Bistro Associates/Front desk.
    6. Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with guests and fellow employees.
    7. Required to drive shuttle to accommodate guest needs as necessary.
    8. Additional duties as assigned within the department by your immediate supervisor or other property managers.




    1. Must be able to move continuously for an 8-10 hour shift on a hard surface.
    2. Must be able to ascend up to 6 feet in height on a step ladder.
    3. Must be able to position one’s self appropriately in inside or outside of the building and sustain weather challenges.
    4. Must be able to drive hotel shuttle and pass MVR standards, as per the company insurance policy.
